Originally from South Korea, Kim has worked for Chang-jo Architects, Eunmin R&D, Createur Studio, and Marmol Radziner. These experiences have expanded his perspective of the architecture industry on a global scale. In 2004 Kim moved to the United States where he was nominated for the Earl Prize at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and awarded the Alumni Board of Governors Award upon receiving the Master of Architecture diploma at the University of Michigan and Taubman College. To extend his architectural and design scope, Kim explores various design aid software extending from modeling, video editing, animating, rendering, and programming. Kim has a diverse range of skills sets allowing him to challenge and experiment within the field of design.
