You have likely heard the buzz by now, so we thought you may be interested in learning more about our pink house project we call, "iMpermanence #helloSaturn"

iMpermanence #helloSaturn recently launched with the intention of building awareness to our brand and providing an interesting temporary and contemporary art installation for the community. The pink house art project, sponsored by Social Civilian features three houses in a row painted completely pink (we used Behr paint color, "high maintenance") covering every inch of the three properties. It's quite the sight to see as you approach the intersection of Hi Point and Saturn Street. So far a few thousand people have visited the site out of curiosity, for inspiration, and of course photo shoots including Sophia BushShop Bando, and Lauren Lemon to name just a few. We partnered with Matty Mo (The Most Famous Artist) on this very 'instagramable' project which has resulted in a mostly positive reaction to those who have experienced the exhibition.

Although most are 'tickled pink' when they come across the art installation, some neighborhood folks have had an opposing reaction. This however has spurred constructive dialogue about urbanization, change in communities, and affordable housing across Los Angeles. Our goal at demolition phase is to auction pieces of the pink houses to raise money for an affordable housing initiatives here in Los Angeles. We hope to have a productive conversation with the City of Los Angeles so we can set an example for the rest of the country. Raising money through the auction will be our first step to a positive outcome for the project.

The concept behind "iMpermanence Art" is to partner with various artists and use these properties as canvases before they are removed and replaced with M-Rad structures. Soon the property will be closed to make way for our unique 45 unit apartment building called #helloSaturn. #helloSaturn will feature beautiful views of Hollywood Hills, green balconies with built-in gardens, and a community outreach program which are not typical aspects of most low-income, affordable housing developments.
